Paul C. Zamecnik served as a member of the Company's Board of Directors from 1990 until 2006. He was Principal Scientist at the Worcester Foundation for Biomedical Research, Inc. from 1979 to 1996, and has been Collis P. Huntington Professor of Oncologic Medicine Emeritus at the Harvard Medical School since 1979. He is also currently Senior Scientist and Honorary Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Zamecnik was awarded the first Albert Lasker Award for Special Achievement in Medical Science in 1996, and the National Medal of Science, the nation’s most prestigious science award in 1991.
