Applicants should have a Ph.D. in immunology/cell biology/molecular biology with up to 1-2 years of postdoctoral experience.  Research experience in one of the following areas is preferred –

  • Toll-like receptor biology, immune-signaling pathways, and mechanism of immune stimulation,
  • Autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, in vivo disease models,
  • Antisense and/or siRNA, gene expression modulation, receptor biology. 

Experience in maintaining animal and human cell cultures, and performing in vitro screening of compounds would be desired.  Hands on experience with molecular biological and immunological experimental techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISAs, immunohistochemistry, PCR, Western blots, Luminex multiplex assays is preferred.  Some positions require working with mouse models.

Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced multidisciplinary research environment.  Good analytical, technical, organizational, and communication skills are required.
